Matilda Ribbed Sweater

The Matilda ribbed sweater is a beloved staple. Crafted from soft, durable, pure lambswool, it offers exceptional warmth without feeling heavy. A timeless fisherman’s rib knit, it has an easy-to-wear shape – straight boxy cut with side openings at the hem, slightly dropped shoulders, and a high neck for extra warmth. Easy to pair with trousers or skirts.

The yarn is spun at a mill in Yorkshire that is dedicated to producing high-quality yarn in bold, unique colours. The wool is loved for its softness, extra warmth, and durability; it also holds its shape well (learn more about the wool we use and its qualities here).This yarn is a rich, classic navy blue.

Heavy-weight knit, 100% pure wool. 
Non-mulesed wool, spun and
dyed at a UK mill.
Care: As this sweater is made from 100% wool, we recommend hand-washing it in cold water.
Repair and wear: Designed to be loved and worn for many years, we have included a small envelope with a skein of matching yarn, just in case your BIBICO jumper ever requires some extra care.
